First
Round :

Robert won his first round game 3-0 in sets, hitting a 180 with
his very first throw and only dropping 1 leg in the entire match.
Second
Round :
Robert Watson-Lang 1-3 Adrian Gray (2-0, 1-2, 0-2, 1-2)
He
then faced Adrian
Gray in the second round for the third time in recent weeks,
the previous two matches had been shared in what were both very
close matches. This was no different, in what turned out to be a
very close battle.
For the first three legs there was little Adrian could do as Robert
produced legs of 14, 13 & 15 darts to take a 1 set & 1 leg
lead. However Adrian managed to battle back to win the next two
legs and level the match at 1-1. In the next set they both continued
to play very well, however, Adrian managed to hit what was probably
the turning point in the game when he checked out a 144 finish with
Bobstar waiting to pounce on 38. Adrian won this set and played
well to win the first leg of the final set. However, Bobstar hit
straight back with a great 13 dart leg. Adrian now needed the next
leg for victory, Bobstar needing it to go into a final set. Bobstar
managed to edge infront and was sitting on 36 when Adrian produced
a great 124 checkout (treble 20, treble 14, double 11) for victory!
Adrian went onto qualify for the TV stages live on NUTS TV (Sky
207 & Freeview 42) at 7.00pm UK time on 17/05/08.
